Barbara Velarde lives in Ijamsville, Maryland, with her husband, Michael. She is blessed with a large, beautiful family including four children, their spouses, seven grandchildren and many beloved blended family members who add to the big mess exuberant joy of life.
During her twenty-six years in Federal service with the Department of Homeland Security, she served in a variety of senior leadership positions. She is a certified Executive coach, licensed attorney and native of California. Barbara attended Unity of Fairfax before transferring to Unity of Hagerstown.
